摘要：

The paper described the testing device for dynamic tensile testing of materials for railway vehicles design. The equipment is designed and constructed as a pendulum impact hammer. His outstanding qualities (compared to similar devices) are: the possibility to test at impact speed up to 30 m/s, tests are performed as instrumented tests, that means with record of the force over test time and thereby with obtained the dynamic characteristics of the materials. Acquired dynamic material characteristics will serve as input parameters to simulate crash processes.
