摘要
This article provides an overview of optical sensors used in the operational measurement of the concentration of substances dissolved in a liquid medium. The first part is devoted to refractometric sensors. It explains the operating principle and describes the configuration of a differential refractometer and a critical angle refractometer and the properties of these two types of refractometers are compared. It also lists the possible uses of refractometric sensors in operation measurements and shows examples of some industrially produced types.
