摘要
This paper proposes a simple method for determining the equivalent circuit constants of linear induction motors, for which no-load tests are difficult to perform, by means of lock tests and standstill impedance tests. First, by comparing between the T-II and T-I type equivalent circuits, which are unnecessary to separate leakage reactance, the authors point out that the T-I type equivalent circuit is theoretically more suitable for linear induction motors. Next, a method to determine the equivalent circuit constants of T-II and T-I type by lock test and standstill impedance test. The validity of the proposed method is clarified using a linear induction motor that can carry out both no load and actual load tests by using a rotating disk on the secondary side.
