摘要
Biotechnology is a broad scientific area that benefits a lot from Information Technology. However, biotechnology is a multidisciplinary scientific area involving disciplines such as biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, medicine, chemistry, mathematics, bioinformatics, etc. This means that the same biotechnological software is addressed to scientists of varying backgrounds, interests and level of computer expertise. In this case, the user interfaces of software have to incorporate adaptivity and intelligence so that they may automatically adapt to the specific needs, interests and knowledge of each individual user. In this paper we review important techniques that may be used to add intelligence and adaptivity to human-computer interaction concerning biotechnological software.
