The time evolution of local magnetic flux density during pulsed field magnetization (PFM) of a Gd-Ba-Cu-O bulk superconductor was studied at 40 K using small Hall sensors. We particularly focused on the difference of the flux motion along the growth sector (GS) and the growth sector boundary (GSB) regions. We observed that less amounts of flux line penetrate along the GSB region regardless of the magnitude of the applied pulse, and discuss the mechanism that brings about the inhomogeneity in the trapped field distribution observed in PFM experiments.
