The S&T Input, Government Support and the Regional Innovation Capability: The Evidence from Chinese Provincial Panel Data

摘要
The paper based on the Knowledge production function theory, applied the Chinese provincial panel data from 2000 to 2010 and studied the relationship between the S&T input, Government Support and the regional innovation capability. The research results illustrated that the government support and the input of S&T funds could promote the regional innovation capability, and the relationship between the input of the S&T personnel and the regional innovation capability was not the significant presenting the phenomenon of 'high input and low output'. On this basis, the research proposed the policy suggestion to enhance the regional innovation capability.
