摘要
A novel series of 2-(4-methylthiazol-5-yl)-4H-chromen-4-ones (5) and 2-(5-(4-methylthiazol-5-yl)-1Hpyrazol-3-yl)phenols (6) were synthesized by using 4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylic acid 1 and substituted 2-hydroxy acetophenone 2. All the synthesized compounds were characterized with the help of spectral techniques and screened for their antimicrobial activities.
