摘要
According to mathematical analysis, the primary components analysis (PCA) and its advantages are used to analyze the safety accidents in civil engineering. Based on PCA model and the scores by the experts, some results are computed which can reflect some aspects about the accidents happening. By case study, some reasons play very important role in analyzing accidents and all the reasons should be taken into account because the serious accidents happening depends on the interaction. Through analysis and deduction, it is concluded that, under the premise of minimizing the information loss of data, the application of PCA in the investigation on the safety accidents in civil engineering approved to be practicable.
