The countermeasures to quicken the technical improvement in China's construction industry

Construction industry holds an important place in the whole national economy. Due to its unique characteristics, however, it is still a trade of labor concentration and the backward technique has not been fundamentally improved. In order to make full use of various resources and to enhance competitiveness on domestic and foreign architectural market, construction industry must and has to depend on scientific and technical improvement. Therefore, construction industry should enhance understanding, acknowledge problems, adopt measures and take the path of the combination of technology concentration, administration concentration, fund concentration and services concentration. This paper is a tentative probe into the problem.
