XNAV/SINS Integrated Navigation for Deep Space Exploration with Pulsar Direction Error

摘要
In order to decrease the influence of long observation period and the pulsar's direction error in X-ray pulsar navigation system (XNAV), an integrated navigation method is proposed with XNAV and the Straw-down inertial navigation system (SINS). The pulsar direction error is considered as the system bias and augmented to the system state equation. Then, the augmented state unscented Kalman filter (ASUKF) is designed for XNAV/SINS. The ASUKF filter algorithm is compared with the conventional UKF in Earth-Mars transfer orbit. Simulation results show the proposed ASUKF with XNAV/SINS performs better than the conventional UKF filtering method.
