Numerical simulation of the nonlinear coupled wave equations in a free-electron laser

摘要：
A closed set of the nonlinear coupled wave equations of a free-elctron laser is numerically analyzed for a long interaction time in the Compton region. The influences of a spatially homogeneous equation and an inhomogeneous case are also investigated for the cases of initial conditions with and without shot noise in the electron beam.
