摘要
This work describes the mechanical properties of the Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy that was subjected to the solution treatments in P and alpha+beta regions followed by an aging. The effects of microstructure on the tensile strength and fracture toughness of the alloy were studied by using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron and X-ray diffraction. Experimental results indicate that the hot rolling specimen with aging treatment has higher tensile strength and K-IC due to the microstructure containing an amount of alpha(s) precipitation. After solution and aging treatment, the effects of morphology, grain size and quantity on the tensile strength and fracture toughness were different.
