摘要：

The title compound, C14H10N2, has been synthesized from the appropriate ketones and formamide using different palladium complexes as catalysts. The pyrimidine group is twisted 30.48 (9)degrees relative to the naphthalene part of the molecule, resulting in an intramolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond. There is also an intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond linking the molecules in the crystal structure.
