摘要：
Jacquinia morenoana, a new species of Theophrastaceae from the northern coast of the state of Veracruz, Mexico, is described. A discussion of its affinities with J. macrocarpa Cavanilles subsp. macrocarpa, based on the habitat and morphological characters, is presented.
