The Relationship between E- Government and E- Business

Information is becoming the main driving force for the development in every field of human's activity in the 21st century, and Network computer technology for business purposes is no longer a domain of companies alone. With the use of information and communication technology (ICT) first in business(E-Business) and then in government (E-Government) has been very successful and glamorous, For more than a decade the applications have made major impacts in their respective sectors, private and public. This paper is organized as follows: First this paper gives a description of the definition of the E-Business and E-Government respectively, second, on the base of the first part this paper focuses on introducing and discussing their separate and distinct trajectories to deepen the understanding of similarities and differences between E-Business and E-Government. And at last this paper deals with the relationship between E-Business and E-Government, and gives some specific suggestions as to ways in which they can learn from each other for their development.
