Materials education and research in Thailand

Materials Engineering is a key technology to strengthen manufacturing industry in any country. In order to attain sustainable development in materials engineering research and education in Thailand, the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) has been established under the Ministry of Science and Technology since twenty years ago. MTEC activities include funding support, institution strengthening, human resources development, and technology. Nanotechnology Center is being set-up in order to promote research and development in this vast interdisciplinary field.
