摘要：
A method for calculation of the effective diffusion coefficient of sodium chloride in the silica gel on the basis of a numerically solved mathematical model of diffusion is presented in the paper. The best approximation of the experimental data by means of the model was obtained for Biot number Bi --> proportional to. Weak correlation was found between the value of the effective diffusion coefficient and the time of gel ageing.
