摘要
An electronic portfolio used as learning assessment focuses on both summative and formative functions of the assessment. In theory, the electronic portfolio assessment contributes to the development of learning process, and also to the certification of learning product. The paper firstly illustrates the theatrical bases of e-portfolio assessment in the multi-media learning context, and then designs an empirical study to investigate its value in practice. In the empirical study, the quantitative data is collect via a questionnaire. The data analysis demonstrates the value and drawbacks of electronic portfolio assessment in the multi-media learning context.
