摘要：
Recently, some articles were issued which included test results of the electrical energy static counters showing that these meters are not working properly under certain load conditions. The types of tested meters were not disclosed, nor their construction was analyzed. Particularly unfavorable results were obtained for LED and CFL loads. The presented article attempts to discuss the "erroneous counter readings". The internal structure of typical static meter was analyzed, as well as the structure and operation of LED lights and CFL lamps, and the properties of current transducers. The article presents a developed measurement system and the results of preliminary tests of several types of electrical energy meters.
