摘要
The objective of this study was to identify which were the technical-tactical indicators that influenced on the team's performance in the 2019 Women's Soccer World Cup France. Technical-tactical indicators data (defensive and offensive) of 52 games played were analyzed. Through a Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the most representative indicators were identified to determine performance. Multiple regressions showed that the points achieved was explained by 22% by the ball possession and shots on target performed, while the ranking position was explained by 27% by the ball possession and shots off target received. T-Student tests for independent groups found differences between the semifinalist teams and the rest of the teams. In conclusion, the most influential technical-tactical indicators on sports performance were ball possession, shots on target and corner kicks.
