Cosmological simulations of the formation of primordial gas clouds

摘要
We study the formation of primordial star-forming clouds in a ACDM universe using large N-body/SPH simulations. The simulations include non-equilibrium 9 species (e(-), H, H+, He, He+, He++, H-2, H+, H-) chemistry and hydrogen molecular cooling. We determine that the critical 2 halo mass to form primordial star-forming clouds is 5 x 10(5)h(-1)M(circle dot), with a weak dependence on redshift in a range z > 16.
