摘要：
This essay analyzes populism as an analytical and conceptual category, and then delves into the theory ofpopulism elaborated by Ernesto Laclau in his book La razon populista (2005), based on a detailed study of it. In this sense, the passages of his theory that have the greatest impact on the interpretation of democracy are explored, with the aim of highlighting the criticism of liberal democracy that is recorded throughout its theorisation.
