摘要
We propose an expert system for exercise prescription in which the expert's knowledge is represented in a form of XML-based templates. Based on the survey results and fitness measurements, the expert system evaluates the health status and fitness level and classifies the subject type. Then, personalizzed exercise prescription is generated according to the subject type. Rules and patterns for classification and exercise prescription generation are represented as XML templates. The experimental study shows that XVL-based templates provide a flexible and extensible way of representing structurally expert knowledge which is complex by nature. The inference using the XML-based templates can be controlled systematically and efficiently by using meta-template.
