摘要:
Boundary-dominated flow equations are commonly applied for estimation of parameters such as hydrocarbon in place and well drainage area. The well may be operated in constant rate, constant pressure, and variable flowing bottomhole conditions. For each case, production data must be analyzed in a different way. In this article, three generalized equations are introduced for the cases of constant well rate, constant well pressure, and variable flowing bottomhole conditions that are applicable for any reservoir model. As a verification of these equations, boundary-dominated flow equations for five reservoir models are introduced and compared with generalized equations. The equations introduced for each reservoir model are validated with the use of analytical solutions.
