摘要
A fundamental flaw of research on racial disproportionality and disparity is that these problems have not been widely studied with a lens toward systemic racism and oppression. This analysis examines how the topic of racial bias has been approached in child welfare discourse and research on racial disparity and disproportionality. Approaches that contribute to dangerous blind spots within the literature are discussed and avenues for moving forward are offered.
