摘要
There is no automatic correlation between successful infection of quantitatively resistant apricot genotypes with Plum pox virus (PPV) and its strain-membership according to the results of PCR. The same is true to the intensity of symptoms. The immunity of cvs. Kuresia, Harlayne and Orangered was confirmed in each case, independently of the PPV-isolates used. The applied methods of inoculation (double grafting in the greenhouse, grafting in virus-infected plants of P. domestica, viruliferous aphids, virus-infected buds or chip budding) were suitable for studying the behaviour of eight tested apricot cultivars to PPV on a corresponding level.
