摘要
The main objective of this article is to design a controllable broadband phase-shifter based on the Integrated Substrate Waveguide (SIW) technique using PIN diodes buried in the substrate to switch between ON and OFF states. The proposed geometry is designed and optimized by numerical EM simulator (HFSS). The proposed phase shifter is designed to operate across a large bandwidth ranging from 8 GHz to 12GHz. The simulation results show that a maximum differential phase of 136 deg was achieved with acceptable return loss and insertion loss.
