摘要
A fuzzy recognition integrated circuit is proposed in this paper, which is amenable to many pattern recognition applications. The principle of the circuit is based on "SumMax" reference rules. Taking current-mode circuit as a membership function generator, the circuit can easily deal with multi-bits feature input in time division multiplexing way. Switched-capacitor accumulators are adopted to realize the Sum function, together with a Winner-Take-All circuit realizing the Max function. It has been applied to handwritten digits recognition with the recognition speed of 20000 digits per second.
