摘要
In this study, an experimental application has been achieved for three phase induction motors including observation and control the motor speed by adjusting the frequency. A frequency converter and a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) have been used in the system as main hardware units. Experimental operations such as starting and stopping the motor, speed control, changing the direction of rotation, observing the actual operation values can easily be achieved over a user friendly and multi functional interface. The data obtained from the experimental set has been transferred to the user interface via the OPC (OLE for Process Control) server software. Thanks to the study implemented, it has been tested that speed control of the motor has been achieved speedily and safely. Furthermore, an educational set has been developed to perform frequency/speed control experiment for students who have lack of equipment to perform the tests.
