摘要
Computer vision describes the automatic deduction of the structure and properties of a possibly dynamic three-dimensional world from either a single or multiple two-dimensional images of the world. I provide an overview of the fundamental concepts that underlie computer vision and point briefly to a few important outstanding problems in the field that deserve a fresh look.
