摘要
Horizontal Cement Churning Piles (HCCP) were extensively employed as temporary support for the roof of the Ayrton Senna transit compound tunnels in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In one of these tunnels a test was carried out to investigate the installation effects of three pilot forepoles of that kind. The purpose of this paper is to present the instrumentation results, the description of the HCCP's geometry along their lengths, and an interpretation of these findings.
