摘要
Sustainability is a concept that either government, society or private companies must include in their systems in order to survive for a long period of time. All projects that involve the processing of hydrocarbons must be optimized through the application of energetic, environmental and economical criteria. The exergy method can be a very powerful tool for achieving such goals. This paper shows the application of the exergy method and other criteria to a natural gas compression plant in order to reduce energetic, economic and ecologic negative impacts.
