Control of spatiotemporal optical patterns using spatial frequency filter in a two-dimensional nonlinear optical system

摘要
We demonstrate generations of spatiotemporal patterns in a nonlinear optical feedback system. The spatiotemporal patterns arise from competitions between the stable solutions. We also demonstrate controls of the spatiotemporal patterns using spatial frequency filtering technique.
