摘要
The product 2, formed by Michael addition of ethyl acetoacetate with etacrynic acid (1) yields the cyclohexenone 3 by acidic hydrolysis. Compared 3 is also obtained by heating 1 with acetylacetone and sodium ethanolate. Compound 3 reacts with pyridinium bromide perbromide (PBPB) to give the dibromophenol 4. The lactone 9 is received from the Michael-adduct of diethyl malonic acid with 1 followed by hydrolysis and reduction.
