摘要
Any national economy develops in a complex network of intersectoral linkages. In the today's world the specialist from the different fields of knowledge constantly have to face the challenges created by the complexity of the world itself of both natural (nature) and man-created (technosphere) causes. To solve this problem successfully it's not enough to consider individual elements or particular questions separately. They have to be considered as a whole, in a system, taking into account many interconnections and specific traits. For example, the demand for cars influences not only car industry but also indirectly influences the steel industry as its product is central for car production and the industries related to the manufacturing of tires and other components and also the industries producing car conditioners, radios, computers. The method of interindustry analysis also known as input-output analysis developed by the American economist V.V. Leontiev allows to give a coherent and numerical answer to the questions connected to interindustrial impact and its influence on main macroeconomic indicators. The article presents the main challenges connected with the modelling of environmental-economic system and also model examples calculations and the analysis of the results of the modelling.
