摘要
Three-dimensional (3-D) visualization technologies hope been widely commercialized. These technologies have great potential in a number of telemedicine applications, such as teleconsultation, telesurgery, and remote patient monitoring. This work presents an overview of the state-of-the-art 3-D display devices and related 3-D image/video transmission technologies with the goal of enhancing their utilization in medical applications.
