摘要：

The discovery and use of design patterns is an emerging practical technique to improve software quality and reduce development cost by supportng the sharing of expertise and reuse of good solutions, and facilitating documentation. In this paper, we suggest a software development method based on a SDL pattern language that is suitable for developing communication protocols. The SDL pattern repository contains patterns formally defined using CEFSMs (communicating extended finite state machines), and it has an expansible structure with specialization and instantiation. These patterns are grouped in two categories: structural patterns and behavioral patterns. We developed SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) proxy server based on suggested method with reduced cost and time.
