Review on blending systems and control technologies for cement raw materials

摘要
During the past several years, the options far pile chemistry and raw-mix control have evolved rapidly with the introduction of several types of analyzer enabling higher frequency of control actions. Cement-plant operators have several new options for the arrangement of their raw-mix preparation line. Suppliers can adapt their stockpiling and blending equipment to take advantage of the new control technologies. These technologies tend to reduce capital and operating costs with a tendency toward smaller capacity systems able to better assure chemically-uniform kiln feed. This paper reviews the various types of new control technologies, i.e. new sensors available, and describes ways the use of these devices affects stockpile and blending systems.
