摘要
This paper deals with a new approach of the technical progress impact on the Romanian agriculture, as a representative country of the European agricultural environment. The analysis started from a catastrophe model based on labour and capital as control parameters and the outputs as behavioural parameter. The model is applied to the agriculture situation from the 2(nd) South-East region of Romania, under a Cobb-Douglas function. The fundamental idea is that, as a result of the obsolete and relative labour decrease in agriculture, the training and the human capital become essential for a modem agriculture. This was why we used the growth of the agricultural labour knowledge and the growth of fixed capital usage degree in order to quantify the technical progress in agriculture. Official statistic databases during 2004-2009 were used to develop the model that highlighted the effect of the present global crisis on the Romanian agriculture. This new approach could help the regional authorities to implement the best measures in order to obtain a modem agriculture for the next years.
