Neptunium(V) reduction with vanadium(IV) in alkali solutions

摘要
The Np(V) reduction with V(IV) in 1-5 M NaOH solutions was studied by spectrophotometry. In the course of the reaction, a precipitate is formed containing Np(TV) and a part of Np(V). The reduction is accelerated with increasing temperature from 20 to 80 degrees C and decelerated with increasing alkali concentration.
