摘要
In summary, we have discovered an unexpected phosphinecatalyzed regio-and diastereoselective [4+1] annulation reaction of readily available Morita-Baylis-Hillman carbonates and activated enones, which provided a simple, efficient, and practical method for the synthesis of highly functionalized 2,3-dihydrofurans. Further studies will focus on the development of related organocatalytic transformations of activated enones, as well as synthetic applications of the functionalized 2,3-dihydrofurans. © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
