摘要
In order to find out the causality between the major interest and internet usage of undergraduate students in private college of China, a sample survey of students has been done in this study. The result showed that most of students surveyed have a trend of internet addiction, and a high rate of poor interest in major. There also has a significant difference in attitude of internet usage between students with different grade interest in major. The data in the study reveal a higher rate internet addiction in students of private college compare to other public university. It is suggested that if the private college can stimulate student's interest in their major by combine its features to run a school will help to reduce the proportion of Internet Addiction and help students to understand the network correctly, the proper use of the network.
