摘要：
This review aims to highlight cerpegin alkaloid, a key compound of the genus Ceropegia. It shows significant biological activities and a number of synthetic strategies for synthesis of cerpegin alkaloid have been reported. In recent years its derivatives have raised interest as promising bioactive candidates to explore and improve its pharmacological profile. It is anticipated that this area of chemistry will continue to attract significant research activity in future.
