摘要
Electric heater immersed in the reactor used to simulate low-grade energy source for heating working pair to operate icemaker. Metal mesh added to the working pair in the reactor for improving its thermal conductivity. The current icemaker designed theoretically based on an assumed load and constructed using locally available construction materials. The icemaker has been investigated experimentally under different heat input. Also, the results indicate that the maximum COP of the unit is about 0.18. The input energy in different experiments was selected to simulate a solar range of generated energy in reactor. The icemaker designed and tested to investigate many parameters. Experimentally the effect of heat generation on icemaker cooling load has been studied. (COP) and Mice that when heat generation increases leading to (cooling load, (COP) and Mice increase also comparison conducted between experimental and theoretical results to check the device that the comparison results between (heat generation load, COP and Mice) that there was agreement between experimental and theoretical results there was small deviation. The effect of reactor heat generation on mass of ice, COP and mass of calcium chloride and ammonia was investigated mathematically. Furthermore, the effect of source water temperature on mass of ice was obtained. It was observed that source water temperature has direct effect on produced mass of ice.
