Some aspects relating to adaptation of internal carotid artery to blood supply of brain

摘要：
The findings on embryogenesis of human internal carotis artery have been presented. Its uterine development up to 10 weeks has been traced. The emphasis was put on terminal cerebral pair of the artery significantly dilatating on its way to brain. This may be regarded as arterial adaptation to blood supply function fuvouring more intense blood flow in recipient brain.
