摘要
Stenotic process in internal carotid arteria (ACI) belongs to the most common arterial diseases. Matter of choice in the prevention of serious neurological deficit is ICA endarterectomy'(EA). In the retrospective study authors describe results of eversion ICA EA performed in 56 patients. Control group included 92 patients with EA achieved by longitudinal incision. Both groups were significantly different in the time of ICA clamping (9 and 24 minutes respectively, pless than or equal to0.001) and in the number of restenoses (2 and 9 respectively, p<0.05). New method of aversive EA with transversal arterial transsection can decrease occurrence of early and late complications.
