摘要
This paper studies appropriate values of EDCA parameters of the author's wireless LAN access point based on Quality of Experience (QoE) for Web Services by experiments with subjects. The access point reduces the traffic of a Web service without degradation of QoE; it adopts EDCA as QoS control. EDCA has several parameters for control. However, appropriate values of EDCA parameters have never been studied. This paper evaluates QoE and measures QoS for combinations of four EDCA parameters by experiment with subjects. The experimental results show that appropriate EDCA parameters can improve QoE.
