摘要
This paper presents an analytical model to study the two-phase fluid flow process during the forced and co-current spontaneous imbibition phenomenon in water-wet fractured porous media. It shows the differences in the behavior of the saturation rate and the recovery process during forced and spontaneous imbibition phenomena in both fractures and porous matrix with the discussion of characteristics of each medium. Finally, we examine the effect of capillary pressure, relative permeability, viscosity ratio, wettability, and inclined planes on the saturation and recovery rate of the reservoir in a water-wet fractured hydrocarbon reservoir.
