摘要
A construction method of revetments using cement and fly ash treated sand was developed in this study for the purpose of re-utilization of industrial waste and reduction of construction cost. In this method, silty dredged sand is mixed with fly ash, cement, and seawater. With this method, it was found that the construction cast could be reduced by about 30% compared to general construction method using rubble stones. Because the treated sand is placed underwater before hardening, it is necessary for the materials not to be segregated in under-water condition and to reveal the required strength after placement. The long-term strength of the treated sand is investigated with the core sample collected after one year.
