Collisions of few-cycle dissipative solitons in active nonlinear fibers

摘要
The collision of two oppositely directed few-cycle dissipative solitons in a single-mode fiber is numerically studied. The possibility of a purely electric or purely magnetic field with an anomalously high amplitude and small duration that results from the collision is demonstrated. Long-lived structures of the field and medium that correspond to the continuous generation of weak oppositely directed waves are excited due to the collisions of solitons (video pulses).
